I have not received any response/acknowledgement. 3 weeks ago I attended one of their events along with my daughter. I've been on the scene long enough to be familiar with "the usual characters". There is one character who is a regular who often hugs/touches/gropes inappropriately and I have experienced this from him. I'd say these characters are outliers and so is not enough for me to decide not to attend but I just know how to set my boundaries with him (and his kind) when they approach me. Well, my daughter who is 8 caught this man's eye, I noticed. He would stare and smile/wave at her directly in ways that just felt off (you know what I mean). I moved us to a different part of the room and not too long later he was where we were again and this time I saw he was pointing his phone at her face and looking from the screen to her as if taking pictures. I had a fan in my hand and covered her face and told hinm firmly not to take any pictures of her or us. He huffed a bit shrugged his shoulder and walked off. I was furious and left shortly after and immediately wrote YA Salsa's team to let them know what happened. No response Text both promotors No response The message this sends is that my experience is not important enough. It feels like because this man is regular (and friends of theirs) that they are making it clear that they will tolerate his behavior. He sido bailarina durante muchos años, en muchas ciudades y regularmente recomendaba YA Salsa a gente nueva; ya no volveré a hacerlo, lo cual desafortunadamente se debe a que realmente disfruté mi tiempo, pero esto me permite saber que y mi hija no son bienvenidos.
