Cookie Policy
How Bailar uses cookies and similar technologies.
Effective Date: July 8, 2026
Bailar, Inc., a Delaware corporation (successor by statutory conversion effective May 4, 2026 to Bailar LLC, a Florida limited liability company) (“Bailar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Bailar website located at bailar.site (the “Site”). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and your choices regarding their use.
Non-essential cookies — analytics and advertising — are not set until you explicitly accept them via the cookie controls on the Site; default behaviour (no choice yet) and an explicit reject both keep non-essential trackers off, as does a browser sending a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal (see Section 6). Where you have accepted, you may revoke consent at any time by clearing site data for bailar.site in your browser. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, the Your Privacy Choices page, and (for California residents) the California Notice at Collection.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to site owners.
Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, local storage, and device fingerprinting. References to “cookies” in this policy include all such technologies.
2. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Required for the Site to function. These enable core features such as authentication, session continuity, security (CSRF and bot protection), checkout, and accessibility. They cannot be disabled while you use the Site. | Always on; no consent required (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) contractual necessity / Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in security). |
| Analytics & performance | Help us understand how visitors reach and use the Site by collecting pseudonymous usage data (pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, Core Web Vitals). | Loaded only after you accept via the cookie banner. Withdraw consent by clearing site data. |
| Functional | Remember preferences such as language, region, theme, and accepted-cookie state. | Stored in localStorage rather than as cookies; treated as essential where strictly necessary. |
| Marketing & advertising | Used to measure ad campaigns and conversions across websites, and to serve ads. | Loaded only after you accept via the cookie controls, and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Bailar uses the Pinterest conversion tag, and — where an AdSense client ID is configured for the deployed environment — the Google AdSense loader. Withdraw consent by clearing site data. |
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES THAT MAY SET COOKIES
The following third-party services may set cookies or similar identifiers on bailar.site:
Essential (always on):
• Supabase — authentication and session management (refresh-token cookie, session storage).
• Stripe — payment processing for any checkout you initiate (Stripe sets its own fraud-prevention and session cookies on its checkout domains).
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and bot-protection for the Site (Cloudflare may set short-lived security identifiers).
Loaded only after you accept the analytics cookie banner:
• Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — pseudonymous page-view, route, and Core-Web-Vitals telemetry.
• PostHog — product analytics, funnel and conversion analysis, feature-flag delivery.
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic and conversion analytics, where the measurement-ID environment variable is configured for the deployed environment.
• Pinterest — conversion/audience tag (_pin_unauth, _pinterest_ct_ua and similar) used to measure ad performance; loaded only after you accept.
• Google AdSense — advertising delivery and measurement, where an AdSense client ID is configured for the deployed environment; loaded only after you accept.
These third parties may collect information about your interactions over time. We do not control these third-party cookies and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies (linked from our Subprocessors page).
4. MOBILE APPLICATION
The Bailar mobile application uses device identifiers, local storage, and similar technologies rather than traditional browser cookies. The collection and use of data through these technologies is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
(a) View what cookies are stored and delete them individually;
(b) Block third-party cookies;
(c) Block cookies from specific sites;
(d) Block all cookies; and
(e) Delete all cookies when you close your browser.
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may impact the functionality of the Site and prevent certain features from working properly.
6. DO NOT TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal. Because there is no industry consensus on how to respond to DNT, the Site does not currently change behaviour based on the DNT header.
The Site does, however, respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. When your browser sends a GPC signal, the Site treats you as having opted out: no non-essential analytics or advertising trackers are loaded, and you are treated as having opted out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Bailar does not “sell” personal information for money. The Pinterest conversion tag described in Section 2, once you have accepted it, may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under the California CPRA; a GPC signal or an explicit reject prevents it from loading at all.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
