Your Privacy Choices
The privacy controls and rights available to you, including state privacy rights.
Last Updated: July 8, 2026
Bailar, Inc., a Delaware corporation (successor by statutory conversion effective May 4, 2026 to Bailar LLC, a Florida limited liability company) (“Bailar”) gives you controls over how your personal information is collected and used. This page summarizes the privacy choices available to you. For the full description of our practices, see our Privacy Policy. California residents may also consult the California Notice at Collection.
SALE OR SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Bailar does not sell your personal information for money. On the bailar.site website, if you accept marketing/advertising cookies, the Pinterest conversion tag and Google AdSense (described in our Cookie Policy and Subprocessors page) may involve “sharing” of personal information (such as identifiers and internet-activity data) for cross-context behavioral advertising within the meaning of the CCPA and similar state laws. These tags load only if you accept marketing cookies, and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. The Bailar mobile app does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How to opt out of “sharing”: reject marketing/advertising cookies in the website’s cookie banner, browse with a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal enabled (we honour it automatically), or email privacy@bailar.site. If our practices change, we will update this page and give you a clear, prominent way to opt out before any new sale or sharing begins.
CHOICES AVAILABLE TO YOU
Access and Download Your Data
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@bailar.site with the subject line “Data Access Request” from the email on your account.
Correct Your Information
Most profile information (name, bio, social handles, home location, preferences) can be updated directly in the app: Profile → Edit Profile. For anything you cannot edit in-app, email privacy@bailar.site.
Delete Your Account and Data
You can delete your account and all associated personal data from inside the app at Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing privacy@bailar.site. See Data Deletion for the full process and what gets removed.
Opt Out of Marketing Emails
Every marketing email from Bailar includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. You may also email privacy@bailar.site to unsubscribe. Transactional emails (password resets, account security notices, receipts) will continue as required to operate your account.
Opt Out of Push Notifications
Adjust push-notification preferences per category in the app at Profile → Settings → Notifications, or turn them off entirely in your device settings under Settings → Notifications → Bailar.
Limit Location Sharing
You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings under Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Bailar. The app will continue to work; you can set a manual location in Profile → Settings → Location by typing a city or panning the map.
Limit Ad Identifiers (iOS)
Bailar does not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking. You may still disable IDFA system-wide in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Opt Out of Analytics
If you would like your usage data excluded from product analytics, email privacy@bailar.site with the subject line “Analytics Opt-Out”. We will flag your account so it is excluded from future analytics aggregation.
STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights under your state’s law, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising (see “Sale or Sharing” above — on our website this applies to the marketing-cookie advertising tags, which you can reject in the cookie banner or block with a GPC signal; the mobile app does not sell or share), the right to opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You can exercise any of these rights using the options above, or by contacting privacy@bailar.site.
We will verify your identity before acting on any request involving your personal information. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written authorization. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising where required by applicable state law.
EUROPEAN & UK PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You can exercise these rights using the options above or by emailing privacy@bailar.site. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
CHILDREN
Bailar is intended for individuals 13 or older, and older where local law sets a higher minimum age (see our Privacy Policy, Section 9, for the per-country minimum-age table and the protections that apply to users aged 13–17). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or from anyone under their local minimum age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, email privacy@bailar.site and we will delete it.
