Dance is supposed to take you somewhere. Not just across the floor— but into a story, a character, a moment. This time, that journey came through Megan’s Jive— high-energy, playful, and full of personality. More than just fast footwork, it was about rhythm, attitude, and committing fully to the character. Choreographing this number was about letting movement lead the narrative. Allowing expression, musicality, and presence to shape the performance— so the dance didn’t just happen to the music, it spoke with it. When dancers give themselves permission to step into a role, the performance becomes more than technique.
