LR Futurro takes the stage at the Chicago International Salsa Congress 🔥 In February, our youth dance company delivered an electrifying performance celebrating 25 years of Latin dance. Directed by Rocky Quiñones, this high-energy piece took the audience on a journey through Chicago-style house footwork, brought playful “bodega cuties” vibes to life, and fused hip-hop, merengue, and a touch of vogue into one unforgettable routine. Our Ladies Salsa Styling Performance Class brought elegance and grace to the stage at the Chicago International Salsa Congress. Led by the incredible Blanca Aviles, these ladies delivered a slow, classic salsa styling routine that highlighted beautiful lines, musicality, and confidence. Bringing a classic back to the stage. In honor of our production “twenty-five” last November, celebrating 25 years of Latin Rhythms, our Latin Rhythms Dance Company revived Qué Lío at the Chicago International Salsa Congress. This sensual cha-cha holds a special place in our history, and it was an honor to bring it back to life once again. This performance was extra special as it featured both current LRDC members and former dancers from years past, who returned to the stage to celebrate this milestone with us.
