  Tldr: SCT is a fantastic place to learn partner dancing and build community. I started dance cold in college and went in headfirst competing in 15-20 dance styles for four years. I was lucky enough to start my dance journey with a pro coach, but I unknowingly picked up strong opinions and preferences for how to teach and learn partner dancing. I tried several dance studios in several cities as I moved around the US, but have never been so impressed as I have been by SCT over the last eight months. Classes are an excellent blend of solo form, technique, and frame and partner dancing with instructors rotating in occasionally to provide individualized feedback. They give folks a clear ramp up to higher levels of dancing if folks want to dive in. The instructors are upbeat, friendly, and skilled dancers. They regularly bring in top-tier instructors from around the world to guest teach, connecting our local dance community to broader movements and different schools of thought. The studio also goes out of its way to create a healthy dance space for everyone by discussing social dance etiquette frequently to ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience. Finally, SCT makes it clear that they care about the individuals who come there to dance and put significant effort into nurturing community with new and seasoned dancers of all backgrounds and walks of life. Like any organization or individual, SCT, its instructors, and community members are imperfect. You might catch an off class or dance with someone having an off day. But if you keep going, you will see that they work harder than any I've seen to create and sustain strong, happy dancers and dancing community, and I would absolutely recommend them to any who asked.

  Great place for social dancing with wonderful instructors teaching a variety of dance styles. The instructors are very clear and the guests they bring in are top notch. I appreciate the staff’s priority for inclusivity and safety so everyone can have a good time and be able to dance for a long time. It’s always a bright part of my week when I go dancing here!

  I joined Salsa Con Todo about 2 years ago, and it has been an incredible experience! My salsa and bachata skills have improved a lot, and the supportive, welcoming community makes learning even more fun. Everyone encourages each other, and the energy in classes is amazing. STC also brings in renowned artists who share fantastic tips and inspiration, which really elevates the experience. Great for all ages and levels — whether you’re just starting or looking to grow as a dancer. Highly recommended if you want to learn, improve, and have a blast on the dance floor!

  Had an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the energy was welcoming, vibrant, and fun. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and break everything down in a way that makes you feel confident, whether you’re brand new or have some experience.
