“My husband and I decided to take dance classes before our big day. When I say that I HATED dancing before coming here, I mean it. Dancing always made me feel super uncomfortable and I was dreading our first dance. But the staff at Arthur Murray in Lakeview were super patient and encouraging when it came to building our dance. They met us where we were and didn't push us to do anything too crazy, just master the basics and add embellishments from there. We took a handful of classes before the wedding, and then made an effort to practice on our own in the months leading up to the wedding. I can't say I'm in love with dancing yet...but taking classes here made me so much more comfortable than I was, and loosened me up a bit to just have a good time. I definitely see my husband and I hitting the dance floor a bit more than we did before!”
