Local GuideGoogleWe had the best experience working with Favian in private lessons for our wedding dance! Going in, we had zero dance experience and knew we didn’t want anything overly choreographed, just something that felt natural with a bit of structure (not just swaying in place), plus a simple dip and some nice moments throughout. Favian walked us through some example videos so we could find combos that we liked. He is a great teacher! He’s patient and really good at breaking things down in a way that made us feel comfortable right away. Over the course of our 6 lessons we had so much fun, honestly even more than we expected especially for two people who have always been shy and felt kind of uncomfortable on the dance floor. Favian would share recordings each lesson that we could practice to until our next lesson. By the time our wedding came around, we felt excited to do our first dance. It was so fun in the moment, and we got a lot of compliments from our guests. Exactly the vibe we were going for, and we actually felt comfortable on the dance for the rest of the night-- an unexpected bonus!

Local GuideGoogleBest studio to learn how to dance salsa and bachata in Austin!! I really like how they have a belt system for their class progression, it motivates you to keep learning! Each class has a curriculum of skills to master. Their most popular day is Tuesday, when they offer both salsa and bachata classes for all levels. They also their dance social at 10pm that day. Shoutout to the instructors, especially Hannah, Michael, Morgan, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Marcus, and Favian - they are all fabulous! I would also highly recommend taking private lessons with them to accelerate your learning and get personalized feedback.

GoogleI'm having a blast going to this studio. Like most of the reviews here say, the environment is very energizing. I like the belt system, because it gives you tangible ways to improve. The private lessons I've taken with Marcus and Favian have also been top notch!

Local GuideGoogleInspired movement was my first salsa lesson. So much fun. The best thing about these lessons is after they give you a little run down they have you to change partners every 30 seconds or so. That way you’re not stuck with the same person the entire lesson or not stuck with someone that’s awkward 😂love love love this place.
