  Lorenz is THE best studio to learn to dance salsa and bachata. The instructors Chris and Rosh are incredibly patient and create such a fun and inviting atmosphere. I’ve loved learning from them.

  Love, love, love Lorentz I found it by accident (kind of). I was just looking for something to do in my neighborhood, walked by, saw noticed they were starting a new beginner class. I was SO nervous. I've always thought I could dance... but def not salsa. It looked intimidating and not for someone like me. I can be clumsy and I don't exactly have coordination. I almost didn't go in. But when I looked through the window and saw how many people were signed up, and that they looked just like me, I felt a sense of comfort. I'm so glad I walked through that door. A year later, I still consider myself a beginner. I'm not that great. I still mess up. I slip in my heels all of the time. Truth is if you really want to get better, you have to show up to socials too (which I don't do -_-) But those two hours every week are probably the best two hours of my week. Feels like therapy. Chris and Rosh are amazing!! My fav duo. (But they’re all great! I recommend any class!) I couldn't have asked for better instructors. I've always felt welcome, supported, and never judged. On the weeks that I can’t go, I actually get a little sad without my salsa time and new friends. So if you're shy, nervous, or convinced you "can't follow a routine," that was me. You eventually stop overthinking and just let go and danceee! Highly recommend. 12/10!!

  This studio is fantastic! My fiancé and I were looking for classes and even dabbled in looking at some alternative studios before finding this one. Chris teaches our salsa, bachata, and now private wedding lessons. He sets the tone for incredibly welcoming classes that are not at all intimidating. He is really great at also sensing how quickly the class is picking up material and adjusting his pace and instruction to meet the class where it is at. You also will not find a better price! Coming with a partner and taking more than one class a week does provide a discount on the monthly price. Cash is easiest. The after-work times work great. The span of levels also is great- we had a family emergency and had to miss classes for almost 2 months and were able to jump right in to a class at a different time that matched our level (typically your cohort progresses and stays at the same day and time- this lets you advance through the levels and stick with the same group if you want to). Having the various levels also lets you repeat a level if you want extra time learning some skills. We drive and street parking is pretty easy to find. Come dance here! You won’t regret it!

  Lorenz Manhattan is the best of the best for salsa! Super superb, Thanks to Chris the Great, with Rosh et all! If you never danced salsa before, no problem. Classes are a community and always high spirits. Love the classes, love salsa!! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cheers, Gigi

  The best school in the world in my opinion for many reasons. First, the warm and welcoming vibe feels safe. Second, the structure is unmatched. No other school comes close to how structured the classes are assembled. Last but not least, the instructor, Christopher, has the infinite patience to guide the students to master the fundamentals necessary to become the best social dancer a person can become. He teaches you how every gesture & micro expressions will be interpreted by your partner. As a lead, that helped my partner work LOOK EFFORTLESS on the dance floor.
