Latin dance in Orlando

Orlando is the congress capital of the US Latin dance scene. Major festivals happen here almost every other month — the convention hotels along International Drive stay booked with dance-industry weekends year-round, and the regular weekly scene benefits from constant visiting talent.

International Drive and the nearby resort corridor host the big congresses. Downtown Orlando and Winter Park run the weekly socials. Kissimmee has the Puerto Rican community floors with traditional salsa and bachata. Summer humidity makes indoor floors the default.
