  Graham held several workshops and private lessons in Bend OR. I participated in the workshops only and found the time well spent. Graham is a warm and welcoming personality. He did not teach any complicated step sequences or "moves" but rather focused on basic tango movements and simple steps, and executing them well from both "sides" of the embrace with clarity and dynamism. This is a great place for beginners to start, and even advanced dancers can benefit from his insights. Plus, Graham is an excellent DJ for traditional music, with a deep knowledge of the music and great song selection.

  This is a very welcoming community, and Graham teaches tango in a way anyone can learn. He makes it as simple as walking, which makes it very easy to use on the dance floor. Also, you have to come at least once to see the doors

  Graham has a unique gift for teaching the felt connection between the body, floor, and music. His instruction is engaging, fun, and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day workshop in Bend!

  After my private and group lessons with Graham, I became a better dancer through the understanding , not just of step sequences but of the musicality, culture and styling of this beautiful dancer.

  I was someone who was quite intimidated by dancing but from the moment I walked into Puerta-al-Tango I felt welcomed into a kind and inviting space, and into the fascinating world of Tango and a wonderful community! Graham is a fantastic teacher whose approach to teaching Tango is dialogical. I never had to learn "steps", instead the journey has always been about understanding movement and being embodied. In my journey here I've learned that there is wisdom in the body that sometimes gets obscured by our thinking. What a joyful discovery!

  Lovely dance space! Excellent instruction that is inclusive, fun, and engaging! Great for beginners and up! I walked in not knowing a thing and Graham has taught me so much in such a short time! I look forward to going back again! <3
